Wow, that's unreal, with tendon, muscle and bones exposed like that, almost like one of those plastic anatomy models.

How do they keep the infection off with everything like that?

I thought the exact same thing. It looks exactly like one of those anatomy models!
I Wonder how they are going to patch that up?

Wow!
I guess the doc had to chop some of his "infected" flesh off, thus exposing the inner workings.
That must have been a nasty snake bite :-\

That reminds me of the results of some brown recluse spider bites.

That looks like something out of a Frankenstein movie :o

I wonder wich part of the body they transplanted skin from?

I think for some snake bites the venom breaks down the tissue.  Looks like they had to cut away dead tissue maybe?

What a mess.

Yeah, it's nasty and all, but I have to say I love the first comment on the post-surgery pic:

"Am I wrong here, or did they just shove some asbestos in the hole, pull the skin off the back of a pig, and staple that smurf together?"

  That is pretty much what it looks like.

Alright....  I feel sorry for the guy, but I would sure take the surgery over amputation.

Here is more info--the graft did indeed come from his thigh.

Huh... I'm usually grossed out by stuff like that, but the first pic DOES look shockingly like an anatomical cut-away. The graft pick does't look too bad to me. Maybe I'm desensitizing.

And the thought that went through my head... 'Wow, the things people will do for ratings.'
