Nice kit you have MTSebastian!

Very nice MP600 you have! I'm a fan of US1. Real nice small knife.

My first Gerber tool was a recoil. I lost that after 3 years.
Now I came across the MP600 and was immediately fired up.
It is really a very solid tool with a lot of potential!

Hello everybody

I ask for admission to the MP600 owners' club I currently have 3.

The tool with the selfmade clip is my favorite. However, I don't like the shape of the blades. So I exchanged the older model.
I also filed jigsaw blades myself and built a bit holder

Welcome MTSebastian to  :MTO:

And very nice setup you have.  :like: I also use the same Lansky to touch up my edges. A very good little sharpener.

(Stil) Having some time for myself, and stil unable to go to work, I wanted to use my Bladeless for EDC, but needed some kind of a "blade" for opening bags or packages, cutting plantain leaves,   or whatnot. So, I looked around and found a somewhat thick steak knife; got my Dremel out and with it, a sharpening stone and an hour now I have a removable serrated blade!

Good day to everyone at MT.O, and your family; hope all are safe and sound.
For today, it's my SS NN MP600 and its kit, still using my replacement C-clip from this post: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,84221.0.html
So far so good ...
Hey Juan, can you tell me more about your Accessoires? I'm interested in your jigsaw blade. How do you make them fit?

Greetings, Seb

Hello MTS; the jigsaw blades are standard u shank/"universal blades. The serrated edge "knife", was made by measuring the SE blade from my MP600 Basic, transferring and adjusting that measurement to an old steak knife (think Longhorn's/Applebee's/Outback's in the States) andthen tracing the shank onto what will be the tang. Drill hole with tungsten bit, finish off with diamond round bit, and then cut shape with cutting disc ( I used regular; may use reinforced one). Finish by polishing cuts with sharpening stone/sandpaper cuts.
The "awl bit", was made following a post from here. At the moment, I'm busy but later on I'll look for the link ( it's something like "awl bit for wave/charge"). Hope this helps; enjoy!  :tu:

Looking back, sorry that maybe I misunderstood you!

If you're talking about the jigsaw blades from the SS Mp's kit, those are t shanked blades. I ground the nubs off, measure carefully for shortening it and marking where it will ride (another alternative would be to remove one of the tools and trace shape); using a 1/4" cylindrical grinding stone (again on the Dremel) I ground out "the hook". This is so that it fits over the female pivot post, between handle and can opener. Mind you, not all blades have the neccessary width and, will not fully lock ( it will not close on you during use because it rides against the chassis/handle like a regular tool and there is some resistance if you try to fold it in without operating the sliding lock). If you have any other questions or inquiries let me know. Hope that this now helps! :multi:

Hey, thanks for your answers! Your knife mod in a bladeless is cool! I spontaneously come up with an idea. You could make a fork and a spoon to fit into the tool holder that would be perfect for camping!
That with the hook is a good idea! I only get the T shaft blades here in Germany. That's why I filed them thinner and thinner so that they fit
I will put the Awl bit on the ToDo list.

I’m still loving my modified MP600. I have other gerber tools and other mp600s, but I always come back to this as my heavy duty workhorse tool. I originally made it with leftover parts from junk tools. It’s got quite a few diesel parts in there, including the scissors, large flat driver, saw, and bottle opener.

The plier heads have been ground so they fit completely in the handles. I ground a scraper into the end of the file. I drilled and tapped holes for a pocket clip. The latest mod was expensive - I searched high and low for an mp600 with an awl. Found one and swapped it in. Now it’s the perfect tool for me.

Good work CC  :like:
I was looking at the clearance behind the pliers when closed, and I recon that there’s a bit of space left to have the pliers slide in a little deeper. I may look at extending the slide slots to see...

I did that too. Just a quick hit with a dremel and I got an extra 2mm of space to slide them in further.

I measured and cut the slots back 3mm with my Dremel. The blunt nose MP600 pliers now retract fully. Much better.

Keeping up with the "boredom binge", I now have a plain edge blade on my Bladeless; following the results from my serrated edge venture, I bought a Dollar Store paring knife to make a pseudo spear point knife blade ( the spine has no grinding to the point, it merely mimics the curvature of the belly) and, here's the result!
