Hi folks - long time SAK fan, first time poster. Once made 2 major pieces of furniture using only a Swisschamp, wood, and screws. My Swisschamp though was too heavy for a back pocket, so here's my first modded SAK, tentatively called "Experimentor"(Image removed from quote.)Contains everything I need in a pinch (plus scales help a lot), nothing I didn't. Decided if I needed more, I'd go get the Swisstool from my glove box.
Special edition explorer plus? Or maybe the archeologist?

Broudie, interesting configuration- no straight screwdriver is not something you see often. Do you usually have one with you, or was the philips kept as much for structure as it was for function? And does it have a name.
I finished mine but as I measured it by a pair of spare liners and not the whole SAK, they are a bit too small, I'll have to do another pair. (Image removed from quote.)
I did the knife in this configuration, Broudie... Scimechanist
BTW, where do you get the brass tubes? Been recycling the ones that come with the knives, but I don't have a lot of those..
It's threads like this that make me wish I had taken metal shop in the 8th grade instead of taking Home Ec to be with the pretty girls.....
