Stylish!
Ok I decided to do this one with bone dried for years in my garden. This bone is cow bone from my butcher .I acid wash the metals to give vintage looks.Sorry no process pics but the most difficult part was to carve the holes for pins giving enough deepnes but not breaking the bone.Quite happy with final result.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Enviado desde mi Mi 9 SE mediante Tapatalk
Configuration: Ranger with an older, thicker main blade and its spring (stamped Officier Suisse with crosbow). Nickel silver bolsters, red plastic in from an older Vic knife, so it's solid, not hollow. Scales epoxi glued and peened. Bail stainless, rivets brass, brass bushings. Noticable havier and wider and cooler and awesomer and classier than regular Ranger Samek
Just finished a similar Vic version of that one. Got the yellow scales for Christmas which I really like. I always felt and actual Explorer would need a saw and I like the two saws together so that’s how this came about. Chunky but I like it.
