Dig it out!

I started looking for it about 4 days ago and haven't found it.  So the exploratory hole is getting bigger and bigger.  I marked the burial spot with a brick, and for whatever reason I can't easily locate the MP600.  I borrowed a metal detector and it did not give me any hits, but I'm not surprised because I buried it about 18" down.  I'm pretty sure that Capt. Spaulding dug it up as a practical joke.

I will keep digging tomorrow, and am reasonably confident that I will find it.  If not, this may turn into a 2 year burial project.

I lived in a funeral home for 3 years, and never lost a zombie.  I don't plan on starting now.

Did you find any rust particles in the dirt while digging? Maybe you left it in too long. >:D

I never considered the possibility that the MT, along with the sheath, have completely disintegrated.  That's brilliant.  Sort of a pre-programmed self-destruct feature in case its dropped behind enemy lines.

Yeah, and I placed a brick over the hole last year to mark it.  That's whats so crazy.  I'm wondering if I accidentally removed the MP600 while digging and didn't realize it.  I've moved the dirt pile once already looking for it there, and may do that again.

Its there somewhere.  I just have to keep looking.
