It is Rough Out so hard use won't scuff it up .
Rough Out is old fashioned and was used in the " old days " for leatherwork that was used hard and is a method that seems to have fallen out of fashion .
The modern world has been seduced by " shiny " things :) , but we could learn a few things from the old timers .

Got this in the :mail: today. Gave it a nice warm soapy bath and a microfiber rub down.






The can opener is a little tweaked so I'm going to make this a user!
