Here's my latest alox so that I can finally add to this thread :D

This is perfect. Black with just a hint of SAK red.

Are these still made or is this something from the you will never get from nananana files?

 :salute:
They are available, just not from the US.  I've usually found them available from a couple foreign sellers on ebay.  Mine came from Swiss Bianco in Canada.

Was shipping a lot? Very interested in one to use as a base for a Syph custom.

Shipping was free actually.  It would be a great base for a custom :tu:

You just bought it off E Bay huh?

So all Syph does to add scissors is add an extra layer? No tools are removed?

Looks like the Edge Pro Apex is getting pushed back another paycheck.

Yeah, I just searched "victorinox pioneer" and found it.  That is correct.  He just adds that scissors layer to the Pioneer, provided that's all you'd want done.

Hmm so it seems they pretty adamant about shipping to the paypal address. Problem is that is my home in Texas where nobody is. Thinking of a workaround now, well trying to anyhow.

That's exactly what I want. Thanks for the heads up.

Of course as usual another very cool deal came up and I spent my allowance for this paycheck on some swag from Joel.

If everything works out I have some very neat ideas of an upcoming thread.

Maybe that Pioneer wont sell for two weeks.

I agree, they do need scissors. I do have my Soldier with scissors, but it's in such good condition that I don't want to really use it.

Hmmmmm. Should I take it apart, drill out the rivets in my Pioneer, and add the scissors to that?

Oh just use the Soldier eh!  Unless you're able to mod them yourself?  Then by all means, do that ;)

I don't worry about scissors on my Alox models since I've always got a smaller SAK on my keys.  Lately it's been my new-to-me Minichamp, but for years my Executive lived on my key ring.

I don't carry my keys so that won't work for me.  My Pioneer will need a cellidor companion.
