You can always get a Classic to complement Alox. It gives you the scisors and TT, plus a small blade and nailfile.

I do have a Classic (currently in storage though), and think that would be a good, small companion to my Pioneer.  It's only lacking the straight pin really, which unfortunately is only available in the 91mm frame.  I think the Compact and Pioneer make a good combo, I just wish the cellidor could be smaller and still give me all I want to compliment the Pioneer.

I would rather not have to carry 2 SAKs though.  I'd like all I want in a SAK in one SAK, like my Rogueneer really, even if it is a bit more than I really need.  The Pioneer just doesn't offer much for my normal daily needs outside of the blade and awl (good utility blade, etc.), with the possible occasional need for one of the opener tools for some misc use.  Hence why I normally don't carry an alox.  I just really want to though >:D

Wrong.

You forgot the stupid smile that comes out everytime you break out the Alox and look at it. Plus all the time you spend admiring how beautiful its.

I'll try to have the pin inserted in/with the toothpick. It might work and it will be a good simple mod to the little ones.

That's a good idea :salute:  I'll have to try to remember to try it out when I have access to my Classic again.

Well, guess what finally showed up from Germany!  That's right, a black Pioneer with red shield and a silver Solo.  :)

The Pioneer should fit nicely into my EDC carry as shown in pic 2.  The black Manager, Olight, Pioneer and Salt 1 PE.  :)

The Pioneer will probably replace the Salt 1 in EDC but I will try to add it now and then depending on the day!
