Anybody try to add Vic 58mm scissors to the Squirt P4?

The LM Squirts and Vic 58mm classic are about the same length.  Has anybody ever thought about trying to modify the Vic 58mm scissors to fit inside the Squirt P4?

That would be a new one to me.

It seems to me that the pin on the Squirt might be a bit too thick for the SAK scissors?

Never tried.   The scissors hole would probably have to be drilled to fit the squirt like Def said.

If anybody could do it, it would be you Bill!

A LM Squirt P4 with tiny Vic scissors would be the ultimate keychain MT, IMHO.

Someday I need to tear down a Juice or a Squirt and see how big of a problem those rivets would be. :-\
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I'm working on a squirt mod and those rivets are not a big problem to get out. Just drill them out using a 2 and 3 mm drill. The problem starts when putting the thing back together. I had some great help from Kent (Richard) and the other guys over here, and at the moment I haven't got the time to work on my little project

But if there are questions of taking a squirt apart I'm happy to try to answer them. I took two apart, and by now I know what not to do  ::) My biggest tip goes for most things in life I guess, so also for taking a MT apart; think before you do  :D Trust me, stupid as it sounds, that is a good tip  ;) And to be honest I wish that I would listen beter to my own advice  :twak:

J-sews is the multimod guru, I just play with knives.   :D

I really don't do much with the wee knives.   Played with them a couple of times and they always ended up flying into the garage door for some reason.

Love to carry them, but not fond of modding them.    The peening sure goes fast though!

My sentiments exactly!

While you have the thing apart, replace the crappy flat file with a modded Surge removable file.
With some measuring and a little cutting you could have a removable diamond file to sharpen the blade
(check out the removable PST II file mod for inspiration)

Keep us updated I'm curious to see how it will work.
