You were almost there shamus.
Oh well.
I'm barely hanging on. I have had to go to the garage 5 times  over the past weekend to get dedicated tools that I normally would have used my cyber 34 for.

I here yeah, all the trips back and forth to the shop is getting really old.
Still, been having some fun with it. And the use of some swear words. ;D

No failure as I am not using it for anything but my daughter made me carry her new Classic SD Magnolia today along with my waiter.

She thought I need to see something different, she is 5 and I don't argue.

I have just had my second fail :-\  I had to reach a cord that was out of my reach under my desk here at work, and the Compact wasn't going to be able to reach for me.  I had to grab my BORebar, deploy the file and extend the handles to get it and pull it within reach.  This is one of those types of uses that make me appreciate the versatility of the setup of MTs like the Rebar or Spirit, where the handles can be extended for various needs.  It also proves to me why I feel I need to keep an MT on me, regardless of how occasional the needs/uses may actually be :tu:

Used the Sportsman can opener to unscrew a philips holding a lamp cover and the bottle opener to scrape some paint from a window sill.

Day 28

I have to admit I got lazy. I stopped cutting my fruits (Apples, Kaki) because its too much work with that tiny blade. I didn't think much of it as it is more practical that way but in a way its like giving up.
58mm as main blade just does not cut it :P

Pioneer etc. series, Soldiers & SI are outstanding tools, but they desperately need a companion, let's say The Classic ;)

Usual today - cut food etc , but I also cut down and stripped some lighting cable for my hallway - SI handled it well.

Are we doing this to the 30th or the 31st?

It's called "30-Day Minimalist SAK Challenge". Therefore, it must end on the 30th!

All I use on my manager is is the pen, scissors and combo tool (for beer)

I'll be opening a few beers at the end of this challenge  :drink:
