A bit of good news
on:
December 23, 2014, 06:18:57 PM
We all know this is great place. And many of you were there for me when my girlfriend dumped me. To make things worse, one of my close friends died and another friend's fiance dumped him, all in a span of few days. Great times
So now I want to share some good news that is changing my life and it wouldn't have been possible without each and every one of you.
Yesterday at 5:01pm local time, I finally got my bachelors engineer degree with the topic of "Making a prototype of a multitool search engine"
The whole work is in Croatian for now but I'll try to enlist Enki to help me translate it. So you can look at the pretty pictures
And I'll admit there is a good amount of BS in it that had to be put in

Congratulations
, I'll wait for the translation as my spoken Croatian is very limited and my ability to read it is non existent!

Čestitke/Congrats!!!
As for the translation ... well ... I'm on holiday from today so no workie of any kind.
We have a few more Croats here (some under different flags
) as well as the guys from former republics who can understand us perfectly.
If you need help translating the program/search engine however, I'm sure we could help, in many languages if needed.

Thank you all. Again I can't stress this enough, it wouldn't be possible without MTO and all of you. So thank you all.
As for the coding part, I think it would be wiser to start fresh when the documentation is translated since there are many more experienced and better programmers and database wizards here

Congrats!
I wish I would have done something even remotely as useful for my degree ("autopilot" for RC-type cars
). If I could read any of it, I would dig in.
