Its been a terrific ride here on the good ship MTo. 

I had no clue what a bunch of wonderful people I would never meet existed on the net.  A simple thanks to all who make this place a retreat for me and a place to hang my hat at the beginning and end of my day.  It's been a fun place and the generosity here is overwhelming at times.  I'm proud to say I have friends from all over the world and hope you consider me one too. 


I'll organize a GAW in a bit so come back to see what it is.

Congratulations Aloha.
My posting waxes and wanes but I see myself reaching 5000 eventually and for some reason it is a welcomed milestone. The way I see it, when you reach it you are a regular, not just a passerby or a comet. And you participate. There are avid collectors with small participation, so participation doesn't show how much you love multitools and SAKs but that you are a member of the community, a soldier of the gang, a unit of the company, a dweller of this cage aux folles, MTO, a fresh drop in an ocean of egocentrism, selfishism, anger, fear, violence, racism, nationalism, shallowness, you name it and this world has it. But look here, a hundred people from all over the world who love knives and guns and "tactical" things but are peaceful and kind and polite and friendly to each other, virtually moderatorproof. Is this a paradox or what?
