Wenger catalogue query
on: January 22, 2016, 03:58:53 PM
Spent an hour today in SakWiki, studying the Wenger catalogues.

Is there a reason why the Snow models were not listed in the Wenger catalogues? There's a full page on the various Blaze models, but I couldn't see nothing regarding the Snow....unless I missed it.

I love both, but I think the Snow models look sensational

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Hi,
the reason is that the 2013 catalog was not uploaded on the wiki.
The ap snow models were one of the last models made.
I don't have the swiss 2013 catalog, but I do have the Wenger 2013 german one, and the snow models are there.
By the way, Wenger had always printed two separate catalogs for Europe, one for "all Europe" and one for Germany.
I think this is related to the Herbertz activity as importer.

I'll have to look but I don't think I have the 2013 catalog. Carlo, can you email it to me so I can upload it?

Cheers Carlo  :tu:

I did wonder if that was the reason, but then assumed both Blaze & Snow had been released at the same time.

Does that latest catalogue also have the other Wengers I've picked up recently.....namely Evo 63 ST, Ranger 83 and a coupe of others that I'm struggling to remember
How about those last yellow Ranger models that were only released in Eastern Europe??
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Hi guys!
To answer the questions: the ap snow models came out after the ap blaze, as far as I remember.
unfortunately the 2013 german catalog is the paper one, so I will have to scan it. It will take time.
There are no entries about the eastern models, but the rangers with orange scales (german market) are listed there.
i think I already posted a picture of one or two pages of this catalog on the forum but can't find them now.
i will check for the other models you asked Nick.
