My wife is happy for the help no matter what knife I bring to the kitchen.
Now that I think about it she normally brings me a chopping board and knife and instructions…  :D

I didn't really help her, I just gave Mr. Wave to her ...

Day 16:

On page one of this topic I posted pics of the two brand new Charges AL, with "old style" Leather sheath and small bit-kit, pocket clip and lanyard ring still in closed plastic packaging I found on a Belgian second hand site for 1/3th of what they retail over here, one of them was for my oldest son, while the other one was supposed to be for me ...  But my youngest son his facial expression when he saw these tools almost broke my heart ...  ::)

Yesterday I was lurking on the same Belgian site again and guess what I saw ... ?  The same seller had posted two new Charges AL for sale again, and after thinking about it for a full two seconds I send him an e-mail with the same bid like last time, and he accepted it again.  So, this afternoon, my family and I went back for a 50 minute car trip to pick them up, and 50 minutes to get back home  ;).

And now I have Charges for both my sons, I've got one for me, and I've got a spare (maybe for our third child that's on the way  ;)).

Mr. Wave felt quite intimidated by this group of Charges that surrounded him ...  :ahhh

Those charges are , the sheaths even more so!
Lucky boys you have.

The charges look like an honor guard for your wave  :salute:

Day 17:

It has been my lifelong dream to own a Land Rover Defender  :dd:.

And yes, today I finally went for it and bought myself my dream car  :D. Here are some pics, along with Mr. Wave and Mr. BO Wave.

Nice pictures of the Landy.
I have always wanted a Defender, one of the old ones though.
We use Toyotas on the farm, less glamorous than Land Rover but unbreakable!

Day 18:

Made my second paracord bracelet today, this time one with a buckle.  And Mr.Wave was there to assist me  ;).

When I compare it to the first one I made, it looks and feels a lot sturdier.  Guess I made the first one too loose ... oh well, I can always redo it  ;).

Too bad I made this one too big, so after taking these pics I had to redo it ...  ::).

Here's the final, right size bracelet  8).

Day 19:

Again some paracord pics ...  ::)

Redid my desert camo bracelet and it looks and feels a lot better now, and I also made  paracord bracelets for both my sons  :).  Mr. Wave was there to help me cut the paracord and I used the tip of the plier to flatten the molten ends.

And one with my Casio ProTrek next it (so you can see the pic was taken today  :pok:).

We are going to have to get Rishard to start taking pics with his watch.

Day 21:

Had an hour of free time today and decided to pick up a geocache.  For this geocache I had to answer some multiple choice questions, every answer had a number beside it, and when I got all the answers right, I could use the numbers to calculate the location of the cache.  This one was hidden quite well ...  :o

Mr. Wave was there to help me open the cache  ;).

The official International Geocaching organization has a website if I remember, been a couple of years since I had a look at it.  Anyone have the web address?

Day 22:

A very sad day for my country, and for our "Western culture" in general today .

I've been glued to the television in disbelief for most part of the day  ::).  Mr. Wave was by my side.
