Happy STS!  To AWL!

I found this thread therapeutic, since trying to complete the current Surge 30 day challenge.

Thank you for remembering this weekly event and sharing the great pictures.

I had a test of character last week at work.  Clearing out a bank of lockers in storage at work in the garage shop, a Leatherman sheath was found along with other items related to our maintenance group.  In that sheath was a... like NEW BO SuperTool 300!!!

Did I mention it was a Black Oxide model!  Well it was.

I was the only one in the garage shop, I admired and inspected that BO ST300, placed it back in the sheath, slipped it in my tool kit and when I returned to the the main building shop, I removed it, handed the BO ST300 sheath and contents to the new maintenance director, stating “this was found in the lockers I was prepping for our project.”

I have been in those lockers before, have never seen that sheath before, none of my co-workers carry MTs except those I have gifted. And I am frequently teased about my special toys that fixes things.  Currently a Surge.

I will admit, that BO SuperTool is a very attractive tool

While looking at my ST300 earlier I noticed that when closed up there is some handle movement(at the end where the locks are), If you hold one handle and shake it lightly the other moves about 1-2mm and will bang on the other handle, is this normal? Not sure if I'm describing this correctly, can post some pics if necessary.

:iagree: but I am thinking what you are describing is normal  The ones that I use are a bit wiggly and way more loose than that ones that aren't broken in :salute:

Yeah I dont think pics are going to show much...I checked my wave and surge and they seem to do similar thing, it's just much louder on the ST due to handle shape
