Thanks, Magicbus.  I recall buying it in 1997 or 1998.  It was my first SAK

Using the Swisschamp to do some plastic flash removal.  I am enjoying working with my grand-daughter on her model engine STEM kit.  A bit more knife than required, but, it works well and allows her to see the various tools available.  She used the philips screwdriver to install some of the screws holding the engine together, but, prefers the Facom precision screwdriver in the background.

Used my SwissChamp pliers to pry out the plastic hole plugs in our Suburban's roof rack. Had to move the front cross bar back farther because we don't need it anytime soon, and it whistles, driving us crazy. The pliers worked perfectly.

I do love the Swiss Champ.  For me, it is up there in the top 2 or 3 SAKs - below 1st place GOAT Explorer Plus, and maybe on par with the Manager or Classic SD.

:hatsoff: Thanks gents!  I like the Swisschamp.  As crazy as it might sound, I know the toolset with my eyes closed.  As I'm fond of saying, if you can't fix it with a Swisschamp, you can build the tool to fix it with one :D

I agree! So versatile...although I just took delivery of a Work Champ - and I have to say that is one nice tool too!

I don't know if one is allowed to post here if it isn't Sunday and I'm not sure if Swiss Champ XLTs are allowed here, but here's my XLT tightening the pivot on one of my favourite Spydercos (carbon fibre Harpy). I actually generally carry a Spyderco and either a Cybertool or an XLT in my bag so I can always adjust the pivots on the go. The XLT is enormous but I actually think, with the right pouch or perhaps hanging from the Victorinox belt hanger, there's the potential to carry it daily; does anyone here do so?
