Though I had my black Champ with me all day and even did a couple of home improvement projects, no use other than the pen to make a quick note.   :(

I wish I could remember whose signature states "typos courtesy of Samsung Auto-Incorrect." That’s so true!

100%! And I use a Samsung and it is always a challenge. I swear it corrects things from written to post all the time as I typically proof everything before posting. I have sent some interesting gibberish before, lol.

At least you have the right day Mr TJ   Awhile ago, I started Minichamp Monday and posted the first picture, on Tuesday!   Sharp readers caught that immediately

I like your new sheepdog photo, Barry.  I couldn't post a photo of my SwissChamp.  I ah.... couldn't find it.  Surely I didn't lose it?  Now that I think about it?  You know, somebody might have taken it.  Those rats.  Smurfy SwissChamp stealing swine.  Dirty knifenappers.  I bet that's what happened.  Definitely.  Just took it.  If I ever catch whoever...... I'll,  I'll.... Okay I still don't have a SwissChamp.  Not a real one anyway.  I like to read the posts.  And look at sheepdog photos.  Best wishes.  G

I love this knife!  Like the saying goes: If you can't fix it with a Swisschamp, you can make the tool that will fix it with a Swisschamp!

The pliers, while not perfect, can get it done.  I've used them for everything from removing a heater grate to changing a battery out on a garden tractor.  My needs are changing again as I get older and my occupation has changed.

How about another black SwissChamp?

Agree with you about the pliers. Not perfect, but they do a pretty good job. Though I've also started carrying a pair of Knipex Cobra XS for when I need a bit more.

I'm gonna need new black scales for the old Champion- Blackie! That should make him/her right back up and shiny happy.
It's me, back with new phone after retiring.

I was over at our new house today doing a lot of pre-move-in maintenance work: mapping and tracing the wiring and plumbing, getting internet set up and ready to go, changing the door locks and setting up a bunch of the existing smart home features.

My XLT was a great help all day, whether it was cutting and stripping wire, loosening up coax connectors that probably haven't been touched in 20 years, or serving as a simple screwdriver.

But the most interesting thing I used it for today was employing the chisel tool as an actual chisel, something I don't think I've ever done before. Scraper, wedge, makeshift prybar, sure, but never actually chiseling out wood. But all my proper tools are in a moving truck somewhere and I needed to reshape the mortise in the door frame to accommodate the new strike plate, so out came the XLT, and a few minutes later, I had a perfect fit.

Nice work! And all of that with only one tool. Respect!
