Starting on Thursday there is going to be a going out of business sale at all Sports Authority stores.

Yeah the one by me's been going out for months now. And they say "up to 60% off" when in reality most stuffs been 10-20, or on the stuff I'd actually buy anyway.

Never did buy anything.

I don't know if this comment ventures into "politics" but they got took over by one of those private capital firms. A lot of retailers that have been taken over by these type of firms, get pumped full of debt and then they get liquidated. At the same time a lot of brick and mortar retailers are struggling. It's an Amazon world and these guys are not innovating and competing.

I'm going to stop by a local one to see if there are any deals. I know they phased out numerous mt's months ago..

I went to one yesterday and most of the stuff is only 10% off and certain items have a sign up stating that they are excluded from the discounts. Most of the mt's were cleaned out. The only thing I saw a lot of was an excess amount of Vic Classics..
