Cold Steel new fakes, beware!

I guess this belongs here as well, mods will decide. :thumbup: We have been years seeing Spyderco copies, SOG copies and Cold Steel copies from those counterfeiters. New batch now, they're trying to copy the TriAd lock.



These sell at half the real deal's price at some Chinese sites (that one that starts by DH--- is one of them, mother***), so maybe we'll start hearing complaints about crappy TriAd locks and locking failures soon.






Just giving a heads up and posting pics of the fakes, so that nobody please starts thinking they are getting a smoking deal on a TriAd.

An exact copy by the looks of it.......on both models  :facepalm:

I kinda missed it happening, but I was on Cold Steel's site last night and it seems there's been some changes, like the sheaths on the cheaper fixed blades.....probably easy to pass those off as special editions.

I had a thought, if you make a copy of the tri-ad lock, and the materials are okay, it should function almost as good as an original.....?
