Let's talk ESEE

You know, the knives you use when you don't want to skrew up that new MT OR SA...

A bunch of guys will say...Raven is a Cold Steel fanatic.....and you know what they're RIGHT, I am...

But...

I'm starting to really prefer ESEE for the simplicity, durability and good carbon steel qualities for the money...

Will a JUNGLAS PASS THE CS PROOF VIDEO GAUNTLET?? It's like a tootsie pop...the world may never know.

But I love the ESEE 6 and izula. 5 also looks tough as hell...

Merit Badges Start a new thread and post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Not necessary. I am open to options you find better in your experience...

ETA...given the fact that ESEE NOW offers stainless, in your given profession, and the salty hell of humidity of FL...that would've been my first option....but again probably not available at that time.

I use EEZOX FOR RUST PREVENTION...

I do not work for any knife company, or lube producer, and have "no dog in the fight"...

Just discussion...

Microsummary of my opinion:
I have an ESEE and it is an amazing knife, but I prefer another brand in most circumstances for design reasons.

Yep that was back in 2010 when the Junglas and Lite machete were still new.
Their products are ok in my opinion. Nothing phenomenal like it's often touted and shouted. Main issues were with the people that represent the company. I could go as far as tinfoil hat mode with random bs about some of their policies, but the fact remains that it's a cult of personality (well brand would be better said) with some people who use their positions to feed their own egos at the expense of the customer and product.
