New Fabricator Membership!

From time to time we have had members here who made things and wanted to sell them here on the forum, and we have largely overlooked them, mostly because we didn't have a method of catering to those folks properly.

Well, now we do.  Anyone who wants to make and sell things here on the forum can now purchase a Fabricator Subscription, which will allow them to list their creations for sale here to forum members, and support the forum that goes out of it's way to support them.

If you want to sign up it is very simple- Click PROFILE at the top, then ACTIONS then PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS and scroll down to FABRICATOR.  From there you can purchase a monthly or yearly subscription.

I hope this helps make it easier for small time makers to compete in what has become a very crowded marketplace.  Here at Multitool.org we have always looked after our own, and I am hoping that this helps us do that even more!

That is a possibility- Fabricators will have a banner under their name similar to the Swiss Army Knights and Charter Members do, so you'll know who they are.  :D

Thanks- I know it was a good idea because it wasn't mine.  I think it was Enki that suggested it first, and that was a long time ago.  It has just taken me a long time to get around to doing it!   :ahhh

Wonderful initiative.  :salute:

I had a very uplifting experience not too long ago after I joined a knife related FB page and shared some of my knives, one of the members contacted me and offered to market my knives overseas.

I'm very far away from doing that, very much an amateur with limited equipment and capacity, but it's liberating to know that if the dream ever comes true, technology and the web opens up markets that actually makes it feasible.
