Bertucci A-2R. My go-to watch these days. Bought it as a work watch, but found it was so comfortable, I decided to make it my main watch.  They make an unkillable watch, which Timex seems to have moved away from. My Expedition from 2017 lasted just two years before really giving me problems.

Bertucci had this one listed as "used" for $30 (basically what a cheap Armitron is these days) when I bought it last year .While they replace the bands and batteries on all used watches, all the protective films were in place, and the date code was Dec. 2020 (basically only about 3 months old at the time), so I don't think it was a used watch. I guess it was a watch someone returned, and it was serviced.

Just got G-Shock number two,,, :whistle:


While I really enjoy wearing my first G-Shock, the GA-140,,, its negative display is just a buzz killer. So I set out to find another simple G-Shock with time, day and date. Settled on this DW-9052. So far, so good.

Thats a nice G, I like the big illuminator button, easy to hit in the dark.

I came last in the 1600 metres at the 2014 European Athletics Champs. Never mind - no one left without a prize! (From pistol to ribbon, that's a really really true story  ;) ::))
