Used a cheapo hand made carbon steel sheath knife for the veggies tonight, just for the hell of it. It ain't a pretty knife, but it works.

Now just trying to decide what meat to put in with it  :think:

Found this interesting boating knife Fury Skipper on a clearance rack for three bucks so it came home with me.
The mechanism is interesting when the handles are closed in the open position there is a pin that locks in behind the square edge of the blade fortunately this lock up is where the tolerance play comes into issues mine is extremely tight I'm going to have to file that shelf a little to get to actually close to where the pins seats right
