This video has a pretty good Explanation : the saddle stitch starts at about 2:50. I can’t find the video that really helped me understand, but once you try the 2 needle technique, it’s not too hard to get the hang of and looks great. PLUS you get to use your favorite MT to pull the needles past each other!!  Hope it helps.

Thanks Mags. Shortage of leather led to a design fault.  :D Now rectified somewhat with version 2.

Looks like a great job.  Next thing I am going to try to make is a nice little Squirt sheath.

That will be a good project.
This is the only multi tool pouch I’ve done. One of first times I tried to shape the leather if I remember correctly.

Very nice  8).  I tried but forgot to make the top part a little larger to mould .  HAHA, I also tend to make my sheaths a little to wide now as a result.  Its fun to fool with leather tho.  I have a great time and when I do get a project done I love the testing of it.

Mrs m47 did it following my specifications : extremely simple pouch out of composite fabric like 'scuba knit'
She sews much better than I do, so she did the thing ;-)
To lower thickness and keep maximum elasticity, we did not add bias to the border, and simply burned it with a flame.
Fits perfectly into my CAP!

Just made a very simple neck sheath for my SI or Farmer - made of thick army boot leather.

Looks good on Bonald the Dog
