Cool knives today for sure.

Congrats everyone.

This is a Case 54 Trapper in the rattle snake pattern, done on oak.

I can never leave a knife alone.LOL  I have to remove any residual tool  marks from the blade, spine and backsprings.I then feel compelled to buff  those surfaces to a mirror shine.

Oh well,it's some sort of compulsion I've lived with for years, decades.

Great pic and knives!  I miss the lichen-covered rock I used for pics at my old property.

Thanks David, Steve and NS.

Nice grind on that blade David.Who's the maker,I can't quite see the maker's mark.

I may have shown this one before.

It's a case '54 Trapper with dozens of very small pieces of wood used to construct this "Eagle Dancer".

PS:  I don't know what type of woods were used in the construction of these handles.

I've never heard of Chechen Rosewood.

It does have nice color and cool dark streaks.

Good-on-ya Steve.

Did I mix up the knives and their woods?
