Day 10

Guess what more garlic. Four of my teenage grandkids came over today to hangout. So I wiped a feast. I cut some onion and garlic for pasta sauce and homemade meatballs and saved a little garlic to make garlic butter. I also heated up some Alfredo sauce with chicken. I browned the meatballs in a pan and barbecued some sweet Italian  sausage then put them in the sauce to finish cooking.

Day 11

Use the Explorer to cut open a Rabbit toy for the little guy, for whatever reason, he just loves to bit on the Rabbit ears...

Quite well to hang from various trees. At the moment Boddingtons canned beer is popular with wasps and hornets  :dunno:

 Maybe they know how to party?

Day: 10

Yeah, a little 'Man vs Garlic' excitement going on here, too.  :tu:

Well, to be honest if they're partying on canned Boddingtons I'll sub them their last hurrah. It's not a beer that'll break the bank. Last year they had bottled beer because I had that to hand. So I made that work a bit harder.

Not done much Explorering today so here's my Fisher bullet pen up close. Great little pens

Day: 11

I'm still struggling with this particular can opener. I think the edges of the hook part of the opener are just a little rounded and it wants to slip off the rim of the can. It worked just fine, but definitely not as easily as some other Vic can openers on other SAKs that I've used.

Seems like a strange day where several of the Explorers didn’t see much use, but still some cool pictures.

Day 11

My Explorer hasn’t seen any use yet today either, so just a picture

Day 11

First, I opened medicine with the pen blade. Then, did some detail work cutting rubber shelf liner to put in one of my SAK storage Plano boxes (it was just scrap leftover from lining kitchen drawers; I'll need to buy a good-sized roll of the stuff to do what I want); and I started work on the dog's crate with the cap lifter. Decided I'd use my Stanley Wonder Bar instead; it's an older USA model, and hard to destroy--it's been hammered on, stepped on, and who knows what over the years.

Found this piece of paracord in one of the SAK boxes. It came on some folder I bought a while back.
