For the record, Ti stands for titanium and AL stands for aluminum.  :)

Unless you're on this side of the Atlantic in which case AL stands for aluminium ;)

hehehe. :tu:
I used to come here a lot.

One more plus for the Alu handles.....

... this morning at 6am, in minus 1 temperatures I was repairing an electric fence voltage converter in a field, in the dark.
My torch was drawing heat from my hand something fierce, making it feel frozen and numb, but the handles on my AL were nowhere near as cold, and actually warmed to my hand.
In a similar circumstance, when I only had the Xti, it stayed cold.

The only thing is......... I do seem to have a chunk of black missing off my handle now, I noticed earlier.
It's purely cosmetic, and only small, but I was only just on here proclaiming it bombproof!

You could probably get some automotive touch up paint and just fill it in... I am sure you could find a color that matches well!

Will give it a go for sure, if someone would have told me a few years back that losing finish off a tool handle would bother me, I'd have thought they were crazy!
Weird isn't it....these are tools, meant to work, and yet I want to keep them like new.......crazy!! :D

Nope, round here that's probably quite normal!

Anyway, I feel vindicated in my choice of carrying the TTi now though - so thanks for that :D
I used to come here a lot.
