In these interesting times I find comfort in the stability of being able to count on my Swisstools.

Some great uses and nice pics.

Day 19
Been using the back gate a lot to avoid people and noticed today that it seemed a little loose so used the phillips driver to tighten some screws.

Also used the metal saw/file to cut a screw that was sticking out of a board and file down to make smooth.

Great job Sherry!  I find that I spend a lot of time doing the same thing in this old farm house.

Day 20

Cutting open life elixir packet is a really important job for my Swisstool, more than anything now, chilling with a cup of coffee (or tea) is probably what I think is a wise thing to do.

Day 20

Post duty once more - that chisel point is so good for slicing sticky tape! The equal of the alox awl, though the alox is a bit more pocketable! A couple of greens I’ve not tried before and a novel brush from Da Vinci - just need to find a bit more time to get my paints out again!

Day 20: Cooled off quote a bit from yesterday!  Took the dogs for a walk and came back for some warm coffee.  An old habit from my time in the Army are the Tasters Choice instant coffee packets, one of which I opened with the Swisstool scissors.

Day 20 - lots of yard work today as well.. Spring as finally showed up and with this Corona thing we take good care of the time spent at home before the new baby comes. Didn't take that many pics of me using my spirit but I got one opening a spray can. When I was cleaning up after we were done I decided to give my old shuffle some treatment with sanding and a paint job instead of being rusty and patches of paint

With primer

With focus on my plier

Being done fast and outside I think it turned of ok

 :hatsoff: Day20 -
The Y told me yesterday that part timers were no longer required, till the shut down is lifted.

So I started sorting down down some boxes from my career job that I spent 25 + yrs working, throwing out many subjects of files, and then encounter my little car collection that was displayed on a lateral file cabinet.

I was surprised by the number but then this carton surfaced.

PS: used the AWL to cut the tape!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Swiss Fuzz Day 20

Got quite excited earlier - found a mass of deer tracks not too far from the house... then remembered a Farmer's flock of sheep escaped earlier in the week...

Day 20:

Mad project of the day : filling an empty Tabasco bottle with fine sand
But, being lock at home forces some creativeness !
1/ made a funnel with rolled plastic sheet cut from a water bottle, hold tight using duct tape
2/ made a sieve by piercing holes into the bottle cap + screwing it on the cut bottleneck

So after some time sifting sand, little by little, I finally filled the bottle to the top!

Parcel opening, my new  - and first - G-Shock arrived today. Also used the large flat driver (again) to pry open a very tight pulltab on a beer can (not pictured).

For some reason or another, I thought the Swisstool was going to be put into action today. I'm sure I had a specific task in mind......but it's now late and....no uses today.

So many more great uses.  Hoping many more keep coming.  This Madness brought on by Covid-19 has reduced my normal work activities thus making good action shots more of a challenge.  Bussinses is unbelivably slow due to all of this and although it provides more time at home the weather has been cold wet and dreary.  I'm thankful for all of your upbeat posts.  Stay safe and keep it up everyone.

DAY 20

Day 21

Wife was busy making garlic bread when I sneaked into the kitchen pretending I was going to be helpful, she knew far too well I was only in for finding use for my Swisstool, so this was the picture I managed to take before I got kicked out. :D

:tu: Enjoy!  I love G-shock, been wearing it for many years and definitely one of the most reliable watch out there.
