My puppers Bella started getting seasonal allergies this year- poor old girl. The vet says she has excess tear production due to seasonal allergies so she will get brown discoloration around her eyes even though she is regularly getting groomed. Here is a picture of her in the winter time versus the spring/summer. Wish I could do something for her so I’m very grateful for any advice or tips. Although it certainly doesn’t stop her from having a good time!

Poor pup. :(  Only thing I can think of trying is a gentle wipe with a bit of light salt water and try and get rid of some of those irritants. 
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Fisher has had the same problem since he was a puppy.  His allergies not only causes the tears, but can also cause sneezing, reverse sneezing, wheezing, etc.  The one thing I discovered that seems to help him is Only Natural Pet Aller-Free 7.  It is a liquid made of different herbs.  I give it to him when I notice any symptoms.  It isn’t a cure all and won’t stop/fix stains, but it seems to really help with decreasing the tearing and the respiratory issues.  I’ve frequently wondered if it would be safe and have the same effect on humans, because if so I’d probably use it.

Cool! Thank you to you both for the suggestions they are very much appreciated!  :cheers: I’ve been looking for something natural that can help so I’ll definitely be checking out that product for her.  :hatsoff:

If you can find out exactly which plants are causing the irritation you might be able to remove them or at least reduce her contact with them.  If there is redness and irritation on her feet look at where she is walking, if it is on her belly look at where she is lying.  If it is from airborne pollen that is much harder to deal with - maybe keep her indoors more on windy days ?

Oh Dex is bad with those, he’ll stare them down and make you go nuts then want to take off after them!
One night I let him out and there was one in the backyard, he didn’t even wait he took off because I didn’t have a leash on him and he bolted behind the garage around the side then out the front, luckily all that was fenced off, the rabbit got through a little spot but Dex was pissed! He kept sniffing around and I had to get him going to do his business so we could go to bed..

Facebook brought back an old pic of Dex when we first got him, I think it was like his 2nd day, so I added some caption to it to make it funny, it’s not the best pic cause the Mrs was taking it with her crappy phone and he was moving since we gave him a glob of peanut butter and rubbed it on the roof of his mouth :whistle: lol..
