Seems like a win/win for both of you.  Rescue dogs can often be so appreciative of some love & affection, and it is quite rewarding for both parties.  I'm sure a lot of foster organisations (not so secretly) hope that a foster will "stick" - and it gives the fostering human a chance to get to know the dog better before making the decision to keep it.

Last night (technically this morning), I became even more appreciative of Fisher’s resilience and temperament, that can be rambunctious then laid back when necessary. 

Nothing like crowding two adults and a dog in a small bathroom at 4:30 in the morning for a tornado warning.  Fisher wasn’t sure what to think at first when I closed us all inside.  But after I held him for a couple minutes, he just curled up on my feet until it was over.  Today, he is fine.

Thanks.  Fisher is great. We are all fine.  The tornado didn’t materialize/touch down here, but we weren’t going to take the chance when there was a warning saying to take cover due to one forming less than 2 miles away.   There was some minor outside damage from the tropical storm going through easy fixes.  Unfortunately, a neighboring city wasn’t as lucky.

Good for her, I must say it was a bit colder at 63 this morning when we went walking, but I didn’t have a good time trying to keep up with the Mrs, I had to sit down a few times but I did 4.21miles! And this is just walk 1,,
