Here’s a few from today,,
He was checking something out outside, sure enough it was my little buddy the squirrel, well needless to say he really had his attn!
Then the Mrs made me a little lunch, chicken sandwich with smokehouse cheddar and a spicy Mayo, along with Mac cheese, and well someone was interested! But didn’t get any!
Then lastly, the Mrs and I were watching tv and someone made themselves comfy next to me on the pillow so I snuck a pic, I thought it was cute,,

With great sadness  I had to say goodbye to my sweet Rosie today. She's been sick for the last five days. At first just not having an appetite to not eating at all. Throwing up what she did. Long story short after blood work we found her liver levels sky high indicating liver failure. She also had a bladder infection. The prognosis wasn't good and I decided that with her other medical issues mainly her seizures it was time to let her go. The meds she was taking for her epilepsy is hard on the liver and having to switch at this point would have been too much. The side effects cause weakening of the hind legs and Rosie's were already weak from a torn knee ligament.


 Rosie was loved by all who meet her. She's going to be missed by a lot of people. Everyone in my neighborhood knows her. She's had a good life. She's been epileptic since four years old and been through a lot but always bounced back with a joy of life and people. She never really met a person she didn't like and would treat someone new like a long lost friend .  She's  almost 12 so that's a good life for a puppy that was left at the humane society and the last of her litter to be adopted . She's been my constant companion since she was 11 weeks old and it's going to be rough but I  wanted to do what's best for her.

I'm so sorry for you Steve.
I always enjoyed seeing a pic of her. She just had that touch coming across the screen of being a lovely companion.

I hope you'll find peace in knowing you did what was best for her.

Long story short after blood work we found her liver levels sky high indicating liver failure. She also had a bladder infection.  Rosie was loved by all who meet her. She's going to be missed by a lot of people. Everyone in my neighborhood knows her. She's had a good life. She never really met a person she didn't like and would treat someone new like a long lost friend .  She's  almost 12 so that's a good life for a puppy that was left at the humane society and the last of her litter to be adopted . She's been my constant companion since she was 11 weeks old and it's going to be rough but I  wanted to do what's best for her.

Rest in paradise Rosie.  I hope Rocco was there to greet you at the big park in the beyond. 

Steve, thank you for sharing all the pictures of Rosie with us.  I feel I know her as a result so she will be missed by your MTO family very much.  Having gone thru this in July last year the heartbreak is intense but I am reminded that he and Rosie led some fantastic lives so for that I am grateful to have shared in them.  This gives me great comfort and I hope you'll also find comfort in the wonderful live you gave her.
