First time and still bitten
on: May 03, 2020, 09:38:45 AM
Weekend, the daughter wanted the seat of her tricycle adjusted.
Two screws, so no big deal. Thought my old Gerber MP was up for the job of holding the nuts.

 :multi:

First screw, slipped and you all know what happened...nothing bad but I already had enough.
In a moment of anger I went inside and got other, more suitable tools, my beaten Wave and stuff.

Finished it. Maybe I am not ready for them old tools, cant imagine how people have worked with them the whole day...  :twak:

A lot of other pliers (or tools in general) will bite. It's about good technique and awareness really.   ;)   :)

Yeah... yeah... yeah...

I've never been bitten by a Leatherman, Sog or Swisstool. However, the first time my late father used my Wave the daft bàstard pinched himself and swore... then promptly swore at me... In a nice fatherly kind of way of course.

That sounds perfectly plausible when one looks at your personality actually...

I should also point out that I have neither good technique or awareness.

That’s what she said.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.
