I seem to have lost my Pathfinder (105) and I think I gave my Woodsman (102) away.

(WTF was I thinking? The Woodsman is an excellent knife!)

However, I was able to put my hands on my 119 Special:

Love this knife!  :tu:

Is that a Cocobola handled 119 ?  I’ve handled one that I got for a friend and promised myself I’d get one for me one day.

What was the woodsman like ? That’s on my very long list of Bucks to get as well

I think it is Cocobolo, Dunc. Nice grain, lovely look (to my eye).

The 102 Woodsman is an excellent little knife. The blade is listed as 4" but it seemed a tad smaller. I tihnk the Woodsman makes an excellent 'Bird & Trout' type knife. I have large hands and the handle seemed to be on the small side, but it also felt very easy to manipulate and use in different grips and positions. The small size also made it a dream to carry. A great all-purpose design. Small knife, but a lot to love.

I might be tempted to replace mine with a Buck Personal (118). A slightly larger knife, I tihnk it would fit my hand better. I believe that the Personal was Hoyt's favorite fixed blade. I can see why. Still, I find I'm missing that Woodsman--so convenient, so useful.

Another favorite of mine, the Ranger 112:

I'm not sure if this is a little big knife, or a big little knife. Either way it performs above its size, as well. If the 110 is an AMerican Quarter Horse, the 112 is the Welsh Pit Pony: small but sturdy and a real performer.  :tu:

I really should make more of an effort to use mine but it always seems to live in the shadow of the 110.
