USB pen sheath/holder
on: October 28, 2020, 06:05:03 PM
I have a small USB pen I use to transfer files from home to work and vice versa. It's very portable and works fine, but the cap was getting looser and looser. It falls just by holding the pen upside down.

So, having (as usual) some leather scraps around and having some responsability towards keeping this sub-forum alive, after nagging the mods to create it, I decided to solve this problem.

Still compact, but with the lid secure and the possibility to be attached to a keychain.

Not perfect but it now feels smoother to the touch and smells better.

 :D :D

Another pic, for scale purposes, with Nitecore Tube and Executive.

The fit is very tight. The cap stays inside and doesn't move. It requires a little effort to take the pen out, but that's what was intended.

Ok, update. I didn't like how the leather was sticking out near the ring end, so I redid the stitching, to have it tuck in.

In the process, I awlso managed to have the stitching straighter.
