Day 25

XLT's small blade opened a long awaited delivery. I must never think about how much I paid for this unassuming batch of plastic and tin

Nice use and cool delivery Simon! :like: :tu: :tu:

Day 24

This keyboard is 30 years old. Some keys didn't work properly. Opened it and removed a lot of dust, dead insects and other crap from it. Now it's like new!

I suppose it's made by Cherry then. Their keyboards are indestructible.

I've found that regardless of manufacturer, keyboards are often the last remaining usable piece of a complete desktop PC purchase. I had one I used for about 14 years....
This life is merely a staging ground for eternity. Are you preparing for the rest of forever?

A Giant task. What is bigger? The bike or the Giant? There's also a bike brand "Giant".
All I can say is the Giant probably weight just a tad bit less than the balance bike. :D

You debugged it, eh?
Jim, you probably know the joke, but that's really where the word debugging came from long time ago. :D

What interest me most about being in a challenge is the sharing of thoughts and comparative use--I actually almost always prefer the metal file/saw over the wood saw, because a metal saw could do a wood saw's work in a pinch, but not the other way around.

Oh, wait a sec, are the colored toothpick and tweezer new offerings from Victorinox?  I must have missed the memo! :like:

Funny for all those years owing a good number of Victorinox products, I never did use the stock lube for oiling the tool.  I guessed part of the reasons is Vic steel is so rust proof, and some of the collector pieces pretty much just stay the way they are even years in storage.  This will be the first time I use Vic oil to maintain a tool, and Giant has the honor being the first to receive the VIP treatment. :woohoo:

Exactly. Those old keyboards are much better than the crap which you can get today.

I've got a user, a backup and a backup for the backup. Got them really cheap, so it was a no brainer. It's the best model I think.

You need to be prepared  8)

Day 26

Used the Giant to harvest some thyme for cooking the steak tonight, and then use it for cutting up the steak.  It's a quite an ordeal using Giant as a steak knife, I have to keep standing up and be very careful where to lay it down so it won't dent my wooden table. :D
