Swiza The Other Swiss Camp Knife
on: May 16, 2021, 04:15:27 AM
My Swiza came today so far I am impressed the blade is locking you press the cross to release the blade. The grind on the blade was very good. The awl is very sharp but it’s short. The nail nicks go all the way though so you can open the tools with out finger nails. You get with a Philips or corkscrew.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

It is a very ergonomic design. I know I liked my 4 examples when I got them. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.  :tu:

My first impression is vary good tomorrow I am going to do a few small bushcraft projects  and see how the Swiza performs. Do you have the Swiza with scissors if so could post a pic of it. On Amazon the scissors look big but it’s not clear what they look like.

How is the Swiza?  I've also have been considering one as I like the locking blade.

Here is the scissors version.

Surprisingly works better than I thought it would. My only complaint with the design, the small folded bit of metal where you press with your finger...I wish it would have been of a larger surface area. My fingers are big, and I find using the scissors for an extended time period causes sensitive contact points on them.

I have that model also. Basically like it, a wee bit larger than my beloved Tinker. Nice to have, but I'll not be making it my EDC. Tinkers Rule !
