Day 30

Finishing up this Challenge in remembrance and honor of Dean with a knife Dean gave me several years ago. It's a Camillus Electrician knife he had recovered with Ebony and tuned it up a bit. Dean did a good job on this knife and I'm pleased to have it in my collection.

Queen Barlow & Camillus Electrician

That's quite a knife.  :hatsoff:

Day 31.  :D

Bonus pic of what (I think) are all the knives I carried for the challenge.  7 British, 4 American, 2 French and 1 (probably) German.

Couple bonus shots for day 31.

I got my Pemberton sometime in March?  Early this year and was not really expecting much.  Yes it looked great but the hype puts me off.  I was very happy about the size and cover material.  It looked great.  I was very happy but how would it carry?  How would I like it in hand and in use more importantly?

I've become a fan of small knives.  My 58mm SAKs are go to knives.  My Dragonfly is a go to.  My little trads also go to knives so this should be perfect.  It was and is.  The fat handle makes it so.  If it were thinner in hand I think I'd feel differently?  The main blade is perfect size for most everything.  The shorter blade is most everything else.  There are times when a longer reach is needed but the joys of being a knife nut means I have that covered.

I would not mind getting a back up of this knife.  Maybe a different main blade shape?  One thing is for sure tho, I am very happy with this knife and as such its been in pocket since getting it.  The foreseeable future I also suspect it will be in pocket.

Todays carry as everyday is Pemberton.

Bonus pic is last night.  Incense and citronella while reflecting on all that is good.

Lovely watch! I might just have a bonus pic for you later.  :D

Edit: Ah, actually no. I was going to take a pic of a watch I used to carry years ago that you would've appreciated, but then I remembered it's up in Scotland... Sorry

Thank you.  The Pocket Ben is fun.  Not high end obviously but keeps decent time and I love the tick tick tick of it.  Mine is Style 6, 1960-1969, from what I gather online.

Maybe not high end, but they have a charm and a tactile quality all to themselves... Not to mention a massive retro buzz!  :2tu:
