The CT helping lube the garden sprayer: pryed open the tabs for the piston holder, and helped push out the pistol's piston.

Day 28

These are the tools I used today:

Needlenose pliers to extract a screw and to remove a couple of nuts
Homemade box opener to open ceiling fan boxes
The large bit driver (with the Leatherman rachet and a 5/16" nut driver) to remove an access panel
The small straight driver to tighten a set screw
The saw to enlarge a hole in drywall

Day 29

December 29

I was supposed to be fixing door stops with the Rebar. I got side tracked with other….stuff.

Just thinking out loud…..
The idea is to prevent door knobs from banging against the wall when the door is fully swung open. There are 4 to 5 doors.  All the floors are tiled so any form of door stop would have to be a single piece on the wooden doors only. The current ones are the rigid types. Do I replace them with the spring types to lessen tripping hazard?  It can’t be more than (the equivalent of) a dollar or two each….

Anyway, here’s the Rebar set-up that inspired my participation in the challenge.

On a side note, ever since I added the pocket clip, I removed the magnets I use as a bit holder.  I kinda miss it as that’s where I place the default driver bit when I swap it out with something else.

                                         Day 29

Long day today, travelling to the capital city, meeting with some colleagues, doing some work. Saw a lot of machines and found some inspiration for my own workshop. Rebar was on my hip, clipped in pocket was the Benchmade Bailout. Those black class pieces are worth their keep, love this knife. Though if it wasn't gifted to me probably wouldn't have bought one myself, as it costs 2-3 Leathermans  :D
