SteveP - Day 2

No uses so far today for the restored Explorer.

But the Deluxe Tinker on standby in the kitchen was called in for scissors to cut off the plastic collar on a pill bottle. I didn't have my Explorer with me at the time, for shame.

I used a different Explorer at work to cut open a taped up cardboard box.

DAY 02No action shots today but I used the pen to sign a check. The Phillips driver to tighten a screw for a switch plate. Then I used the Mag glass to read some tiny print on a friends rare stamp. All in all a good day!
Great pictures fellow four layerists!  :salute:

Day 2:

Yesterday I used the scissors to trim a bandage to fit over my knuckle.

Fireman complimented the dark green scales on my Explorer. Being a history buff, when I think of the dark green scales on knives where red is the standard color, my mind immediately goes to Richard Sharpe and the 95th Rifles.

DAY 03

I used those scissors to trim bottom of some jeans.

But that saw as a back scratcher is just right.

Day 10

Decided to try something a little different today. Instead of putting my bags on the parcel hook, then using the body of the knife as a handle, I just put them over the whole thing. Was fairly comparable, at least with this load. Maybe a useful work around for the anyone with a knife that's too old for the hook.

SteveP - Day 3

No use for any of the Explorers today. I thought the mag glass might come in handy when Mrs. P and I were at a restaurant tonight and she realized she didn't have her glasses to read the menu. But we decided that the credit card sized magnifying lens in my wallet was a better choice.

The Huntsman was on standby while I did yard work in case a wood saw was needed, but it wasn't. More yard work tomorrow so who knows?

DAY 4  Potential Tropical Cyclone One is passing by, and I woke up at 0300 to let myself and the dogs out while it's not raining hard.  Can't fall back asleep yet, so the Explorer and I checked the weather.

Day 3:

I used the scissors to harvest some fresh mint from the garden.

Nice. I didn't plant any mint this year. Last year my mint didn't really do much of anything. Very disappointing.

And confusing. Mint is usually a "just add water" sort of plant. We have some try to go feral a couple years ago and eradicating it was no small task.

Yours looks great!  :tu:
