DAY 19

As it is father's day in the states I didn't use my trusted Huntsman for any duties or tasks.

I did however get my hound to finally sit still for a picture. Took a few blueberries but in the end it worked.

That is Scoot and my Huntsman.

Huntsman on fingernail duty.  Definitely one of those chores that can be done with a blade, but is quicker and easier with scissors…

Day 19

Used the mini-screwdriver I added to the Huntsman to tighten the screws on my son’s glasses.  (He’s only five, but after telling the eye doctor he would need the most durable frames they had, I’m not sure how much longer these will last.  Disappointed and looking for suggestions.)

Day 26

Used Huntsman Plus- $8.50
Pen and mini-driver- $2.00
Getting a $50 knife for under $20 (after taxes and shipping)- Priceless

Glad to finally have this guy "complete" again.

Used the small blade to open one of those crank operated radios/flashlights/emergency power packs.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads on the board!

I can't make a specific recommendation, but zennioptical.com sells a vast array of glasses for cheap.  What an optometrist sells for $600, Costco sells for $200 and zenni sells for $50.

Day 19
I went back to the Mtn Yeoman today because I’ve concluded it is in fact my favorite four layered SAK.  The combo tool was used to pry open a plastic ammo box.  The blade was used to cut some dog treats.  The magnifying glass was used to read a medicine label.

I also decided the Mtn Yeoman needed a glamour shot while enjoying some night air

DAY 19
Used the mag glass to look at some plants and flowers.
Corkscrew to untie a knot
Small blade to cut a ribbon on a birthday present
Used the MacGyver tool (can opener) to tighten a small flat head screw on a frame
And lastly used the hook to tighten an eye hook for a fence latch
Excellent pictures and uses everyone  :salute:

Powernoodle Day 20

Cutting up pizza boxes for the garbage bin.  Being mindful of our shared planetary responsibilities, I respect Mother Earth by returning cardboard directly to her womb - the fertile soil from which it was borne - thereby eliminating the pollution, carbon footprint and wasted resources associated with industrial recycling.  Enriching the soil with decomposing cardboard is the best way to ensure that future generations will reap the benefits of organic vegetables, fruit, timber and textiles harvested from a healthy, happy planet.  Go Green!

I’m playing catch-up ball today. I was away yesterday, out camping in the mountains, without cell phone reception.

Day 19

I had to open up and vent a new 2-gallon jug of water, to fill water canteens for camping.

Once at the campsite, there was a huge amount of work for the wood saw, getting kindling ready for the night’s campfire.

Bonus camping shot of the FX:

Day 20

Those little plastic dingbats on tags for socks are my nemesis. They love to leave holes in your socks, if you get too hamfisted. Fortunately, SAK scissors make quick work of them.

I swear there's an SAK in this picture. Asked my friend to snap the Huntsman trimming a tag on my shirt. Also lent it out several times for people who needed help opening a package. Working on convincing the group that we should try to get a semi-custom job in our school colors, engraved, etc.

Hope you enjoyed the camping.
I hate those little plastic things.  It seems they either leave holes or I miss and end

The friend didn’t realize the SAK was the star.
