Let's not forget what happened today 21 years ago in New York, PA and Washington. All those who made the ultimate sacrifice.  :salute:

Never.  L8ke many, I watched it unfold live on TV.  I was off work having crushed my left root in a rock climbing accident a few days before and I was scheduled for surgery the next day.  Naturally, being so close to New York, all of our non regency surgery was canceled as our hospitals dealt with an influx of people due to emergency landed planes.

Every day I feel pain in my foot (which is a constant) I am reminded of what happened, and even now the memories are quite vivid.

I was in elementary school when this tragedy unfolded. I remember the teachers gathered everybody in the gym, listening in on the news broadcast. A room filled with children, yet not a single sound was made. This was all the way over here in Norway, as I am sure happened in many countries after this dark day of human history. Solidarity is a strong thing.
