problem solve :D

i found a little key-chain ring, that fit the space great, and also a piece of the scissors to complete the work :D

smile faces and words cant describe how happy am i so heres a couple of pics:

the idea: swap the scissors for a v-cut, the file for a serrated blade and the plain/serrated blade for a full plain edge blade

the swapping of the file was easy

the other side, a bit of a nightmare

here you can see the piece of the scissors between the Robinson driver and the v-cut blade

and the "spacer" here between the scissor piece and the v-cut blade

after all the hassle i end up with my very own custom powerlock, so at the end the hole swapping wasnt so bad :)

You guys have Robertson screws down there?  I thought they were pretty much only a Canadian thing....

Good job.  I'm going to stay away from them myself.  I spend enough time tinkering with SAKs without bringing multi's into it.  Be careful Neil.  ;)

Good job on the customizing CG! :)

Have you used the v-cutter much yet? I have mixed feelings about mine :-\

Why do you say that, Bob? I once had a dull V cutter and it didn't work at all.. Then, I got another from Loudliam and it was crazy! It zipped through paracord like nothing.. I really like the hook on the select Charge serrated blades; it works so well!

That pretty well sums up why I said what I said Nikko. The v-cutter works fine when it is razor sharp, but not when it gets the least bit dull, and there's no good way to sharpen it. :-\

Yeah, all you can do is buy another! When the time comes, I wonder how I am going to sharpen my EDC TTi's gut hook ..  ???

Those can be sharpened easily with any small rod shaped sharpener.

In order to cut paper and other thin material, the razors need to be super sharp right up in the point-iest part. I've not been able to do that with any sharpener I've tried. :(

well, the scissors probed to be worthless for me, thats why i got the v-cut and yeah i figure out that sharpening may not be and option, i guess ill buy another one when this one goes dull but thats fine with me

when it come to use i find myself cutting zip tie(used to organize optical fiber and utp) and is useful to strip wire too so i see it as a very convenient tool to have :tu:

Sorry to bring this back on topic  ::) :D, but you can just ask SOG for spacers or washers.  I've had a few of the plastic spacers sent to me absolutely free.  You might have to pay for shipping as you aren't in the Cont. USofA.
