Day 10Thanks Vicman!
We welcome your comments and are glad to have you following along.
Thanks! If I hadn't already joined the SAK alike challenge I would have joined in on this one,,, but I enjoy seeing everyones pics and posts! Not for contests. I smoked a couple of turkey breasts for Thanksgiving and some boudin last week. Funny you ask though. Today happens to be BBQ sauce making day here. I've been making this sauce for 25 years and everyone loves it. My wife wants to give some away for Christmas and I've been thinking about going back to using it at contests next year. I was scoring good with it during my first year competing, but strayed for a few years chasing other flavor profiles. Gonna try to get back to my roots next year I suppose.
My Diesel and MP400 were packaged with same size Nylon/velcro sheaths pancake sheaths.
The wife and I get a lot of individual serving sized chip bags to pack in our lunches. Last year I accidentally opened one from the bottom, but noticed that it was much much easier to open. so much so that I've been doing it on purpose ever since. Seems to be consistent on large bags too.Sorry to interrupt, just thought I'd share. We now return you to our regularly scheduled programming.
Day 10: I used mine in some home improvement work. Pictured is the screwdriver turning a bolt that was probably too big for it, but it didn't miss a beat. Not pictured was some pliers use and using the Wharncliffe blade to cut pieces of plastic trim. Things that popped up during the project that were better suited to dedicated tools, but the 600 was on my belt so it got it done! This is one rugged, built piece of equipment!
Great additions everyone! Day 10Found this book at a used book sale. Always wanted to know how to make more than just shoestring knots.
Day 10I just got back from seeing a private collection of military vehicles with my off road club. The MP600 opens pretty wide, but I don't think it would help much with the lug nuts on a deuce and a half.
My dog Louie loves the let's take the treat from the MP600 game.It was a 4 stage process today.SmellYawnLickTake
Day 10A while back, I removed the idle stopper and S-VCM controller from my wife’s Honda Pilot so the dealer could do some recall items. She got the SUV back a couple of weeks ago and has been asking to get the idle stopper and S-VCM controller reinstalled. Today was a nice day and the perfect opportunity. So, 1 item removed from the honey do list. It is amazing how much smoother the Pilot is with these two items installed.
Sometimes it may take a while, but I knew he would get there eventually. Good Dog!
