I used the Spartan’s mini screwdriver (set in my Leatherman bit extender as a handle) to remove the screws on my TI-36X Pro calculator to replace the battery.

Sub-challenge accepted. Here is the Spartan with the two flashlights that I have and know to be working: an Olight I1R2-EOS and a Lumintop Nano Frog.

And here's the Olight's beam shedding some light on the Spartan and a Schrade SP2. A similar photo with the Lumintop's beam was relegated to the cutting room floor, as it wasn't apparent enough that a flashlight was in use.

Recent talk about the package opener had me wondering how the can opener did on packages. So I found a disused box and had at it.

There is a trick to it (don't go from the edge), but the can opener got through the tape. The label was more difficult, but still possible.

Find him! Participate in a Challenge thread, carry knife/tool with a blade 4" or longer, and post a photo every day for 30 consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread, carry at least one green edc item, and post a photo every day for 30 consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread, carry a Victorinox Hiker, and post a photo every day for 30 consecutive days. Must start a thread with a photo of at least five (5) of your watches Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. Participate in a Challenge and post a photo of a Utility Knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. I'm spending day 12 working on an IEP, or Individualized Education Plan for those not familiar with special education. Consequently, my trusty Spartan hasn't seen any use so far. I may take a break soon to check on how the Packers are doing, which could require the use of the cap lifter for one of the German Octoberfest beers in the fridge.
