Sorry to hear that, Crunchie   :(

Massively annoying.

I think it’s been about six weeks, and happens across all websites, particularly forums-types where people post pictures or video using hosting sites.

Love a good Crunch picture, too.

Hi there,
If my question have already been answered, sorry for the desagrement (:

Is there a way to find a leather holster for my Crunch ?

(and, if I can push forward a little bit, is there a way to find leather holster for other leatherman tools, such as PST, for example ;) ).

Thank you in advance for your answer !

See you :)

Welcome to :MTO:

They don't really make the old school black Leatherman sheath anymore but you might can still find them second hand either on ebay or some similar sites like that :salute:

Would be the one that is also for the LM Pulse but they are harder to find than the PST sized ones because they are a bit wider each way and unless you have the crunch with you to try the sheath out then it will just be the luck of the draw :ahhh

Thank you for your answer ;)

As I got a Pulse with it's original sheath, I can confirm that it fits with the Crunch.

I didn't try the supertool sheath, or the core, I'm going to try today.

You're right, there are some Leatherman original sheaths on ebay... I should register, I guess :D

Awesome that you have the leather Pulse sheath 8) :like:

The Core sheath would probably fit it and also the Supertool 200 and 300 as well but they are a bit long :tu: the OG Supertool sheath might not fit as good though  :dunno:

Good luck in the search though  and let us know if you find something :woohoo:  :like:

Yes, the core and Supertool (original, 200, 300) can fit with the crunch, but you're right, it's too long :/

I've got a nylon sheath for the Crunch, but I want a leather one  :D

Here are some pictures of my Crunch, if I can upload them (well, nothing special, it's a Crunch ;) ) :

Thank you sir !  :salute: ;)

Good idea, I hadn't thought about that. It's an interesting way to keep my Crunch in a Leather sheath.

Prices in France for Leatherman's tools are crazy.

You know, here, the price for a Crunch with it's leather sheath is between $407 and $465

Someone is even selling a leather sheath alone (fiting with Crunch, Pulse, Core...), which was probably abandoned on a highway, crushed by thousands of trucks, subjected to snow, rain, sun, in short, an old piece of leather on which you can still read the word "leatherman", for just $46. Very cheap, isn't it ?  :D

Crazy prices :o :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Yes :/

But, you know, they always found crazy people to pay those tools a crazy price :dunno:

Show content
Like me

But, if I don't buy it at that price, I don't get it :dunno:

And... well, when I want something, I have to get it. Fortunately I don't want a Stingray Corvette

You know, on the main online second-hand market in France, there's only two Flair. Two, not a single one more.

One at €350, the man did not read my private message since 4 weeks. Maybe he's ill, or dead, dunno.

The second one was at €300. Guess who bought it ?

Yes, me :D

For €280. Now there is no more flair on this market, the other guy doesn't answer.

The Flair is the rarest tool in france (I think we can tell the same for the knifeless fuse, never saw one for sell).

Hello,

I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask my question.

I collect multi-tools and I was able to buy a Leatherman Crunch, which I think is very unique.

My Crunch is unused and dates from 1999. Both date stamps are from July 1999 (0799/0799). I have the original packaging and it is the version with the nylon case, which is in mint condition.

I searched for a long time to find a Crunch from the year it was released. But I didn't expect to find an unused one that also had the same date stamps.

My question to you is, does anyone have a Crunch with earlier date stamps that both have the same date?

And how many Crunchs from the first year do you think are out there that are unused, have all the documentation and original packaging, and have the same date stamps?

I look forward to hearing your expert opinions and hope that some of the professionals here can help me.

Many thanks in advance,

Thomas

That seems like a very early one :salute: I am not sure on how many were manufactured the first year but still having the packaging is great :tu: :like: :like:

Picked up this 0500 at an antique mall yesterday. In really good shape, just need to find a sheath for it. Anyone able to shed light on sheath options and maybe what sheaths for other LM tools would fit the Crunch?

Congrats ToolNerd :woohoo: :like: I am thinking most of the nylon sheaths for the 4 inch tools will work and a select few of the leather sheaths will  most of those are for tools that are also discontinued as well though   :ahhh Not sure what newer sheaths will fit  maybe a pancake leather style sheath for a Wave :dunno:

Thanks Poncho! I haven't been at this long but it sure seems like Leatherman was all over the map with sheath options early on. I've got a couple coming in that'll possibly work  :dunno:. I'll post about what I find for it
