How long 'till we see a SOG with outside blades? (non power assist)

In my opinion, if sog combined the best of both worlds into one MT (powerlock pliers + outside opening blades), then they would sell like crazy.  I'm sure that LM must have some kind of patent on the outside opening blades.  All I know is that I handled a powerlock today at lowes, and I instantly fell head over heels for the smoothness of a powerlock. WOW.  Too bad I keep my LM wave for the outside blades.

  • Where is all that water coming from?!
I would have a go on a powerassist if it had one handen closing as well. I often have just one hand free, that why I like my wave. And usually when I have one hand free for opening, I still have one hand free for closing as well! So I would like to try the powerassist but...can you close it with one hand?
On the video it looks like you still need two hands for closing..... ???

Good idea. :tu: The PowerLock is a bit bigger than what I like to carry.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

How long?  Just until I break my PowerAssist...

Then I'll call it "customized" and offer it to you guys at a premium price! :D
