Still getting to know the Pulse and liking it so far. It is a nice combination of features, size and weight.

Below it is the only knife project of mine, which used to be part of some Fiskars branch cutters that eventually broke when going up against a branch that really should have been tackled with a saw to begin with. This thing is a true tool knife that is still under work but that I don't mind putting between a big stubborn root and a hammer!

Big storm yesterday.  That usually means trouble down my rustic driveway.  So, today's walk down the driveway tools were; a small bow saw, a long handled pruning shear, and my Vic Trooper.  Not too surprised about the last one?
Only small stuff in the road.  I did clip off some Virginia Creeper and Chinese Privet that was hanging too low.  Also limbs from a Walnut sapling.  All Trooper fare except for the Walnut.
Everybody likes pictures, right?  This is part of IMR's rural egress.  Actually this is the better part.  Best wishes.  Oh, I did see some bear tracks and coyote tracks.  Just a few tiny little miniature baby deer tracks too.  Gary

Hi Poncho,
It is about a quarter mile or so.  Not level either.  I didn't show the bad parts.  Just too depressing.  I love the animals and the seclusion.  That's also why I can't get UPS service.  Best wishes. Gary

I totally get it, mine is less than 2/10 of a mile

I also love seclusion and animals but I do get all the postal services  :salute: I try to keep the gravel halfway decent but it can get away from you easily :ahhh

As long as your driveway is, it's little wonder you request a signature on inbound packages. I sure do like the greenery!

Nice carries and cool pics.

I don't recall seeing scales with the Victorinox rivets/scale mounts exposed.  I can see where the scales are countersunk a little, but the scales must be very thin.  Someone on here had 3D printed some?  Was that you?
I spent part of the day yesterday staring at a Spartan.  And some pretty nice wood.  Spartan.  Wood.  Spartan.  Wood?  I finally put the wood away so I could stop thinking about it.  For now.
Anyway.  Nice looking Spartan custom.  Clever saw adapter usage.  Best wishes. Gary

Now that is neat! :like: :like:

Where can one get that t-shank adapter or is it one of your designs?  :gimme:

Thanks guys, and yeah IMR you guessed right that the scales are 3D printed and quite thin. This Spartan happens to be my very 1st 91mm SAK. At the time I often needed a USB memory stick so I designed a slot for one held in by the cork screw.

I thought I'd show also my minimalist sideways inner tube MP400 sheath  :D

I'm glad you showed both sides.  Nice clear photos, too.  The scales look like they could be a press fit instead of a glue on.  I will have to glue on the wood scales for my Spartan.
Minimalist side fitting inner tube Mr. Pinchy sheath.  The photo was as good as a blueprint.  Much more car seat and safety belt friendly.  Easier to access too.  Keep up the good thinking. Oh and please tell Variable about the t-shank adapter before he goes Cocoa Puffs.    Best wishes. Gary
