My everyday walking around belt pack.  I wear it while working outside.  I don't wear it in public.  The Spartan is for today.  Usually a 108mm.  SAK stays in my pocket.  The Swiss+Tech is always in the orange first aid pouch.  Another folder is in the pack along with a wee scissors in the orange pouch.  Don't know why I didn't show them?  Best wishes. Nice pics Poncho and IMR.

Today I went to the woods near our home as I had few moments to play with the twig stove and pour myself some coffee. Curl pliers helped disassemble the hot stove. I managed to get the fire going without any shavings, birch bark or resin so no need for a knife this time. Had Izula still on stand by as always when in the woods. Im suprized how big branches and even logs I can baton with it confidently. I think biggest log last summer was 30cm diameter and full of knots.

So todays carry was: Curl + "adventure kit" containing two stoves, cooking pot, ESEE Izula, Victorinox Huntsman, Bacho Laplander saw (actually used this one today), first aid dressing and some other stuff that fits in the pouch.

Awesome Charge, same kind as my first real MT nearly 20yrs ago. I still enjoy carrying mine from time to time.

I felt like carrying the Curl after yesterday's discussion. Congrats on the recent leap into fatherhood!

I like the blades on 91mm SAKs for on-the-go food prep. and now that apples are starting to be ripe I've been carrying one in addition to my main MT so I always have a good clean blade on hand.

This particular one is my thinnest 1 layer mod.- a work in progress still but I believe I'm sticking with this tool set.
Really like your combo, especially that slim SAK looks like a good buddy to the Curl. Had me thinking if I should also carry SAK for food prep. Last time I used my Curl blade it was to cut a rotten cactus :D Had to wash it good after that

Night shift with the baby at home.

Curl on stand by. Used the whole night my new Swisscard because it has a great light that is not too bright and the card can be easily carried around in shorts back pocket. I like the straight edge with ruler because I tend to write and log stuff all the time. Note the Pilot Supergrip ;) We tend to log baby's day (food, sleep etc.) so we can see if everything looks normal or not

Nice carries and photos guys.  :hatsoff:

I enjoy reading a bit more of the why and how to the carries that has been posted recently. Keep it up  :tu:

Yesterday I had a Wingman (only modification being chamfered and slightly natrowed phillips to accommodate the bit adapter) and today I got out the original titanium Charge. Both days were supplemented by a climber with another one of my own scale designs.
The tweezers act as a spring to keep the pen against a notch so it won't pop back in while writing. Essentially it is like plus scales, but everything on one scale and the pen works a bit like a lever action instead of just being stored, all just about as thin as a regular scale.

I'm working on a paracord handle for my broken Fiskars loppers into knife/pry/chisel project. I might need to search online to learn some better techniques. I didn't walk away unscathed, as I've already sharpened it to paper slicing level, despite the rough look. The finger choil was the latest addition before this.

Pilotsupergrip,

I like that the swisscard has a light! My tool logic doesn't. It should!

DIAMOND, there are versions of the Tool Logic card that HAVE  a light, instead of the magnifier and compass on your version. The light is a red LED though, so nothing to write home about...

The Victorinox SwissCard Lite came in two versions: the first one with red LED, see my remark above. The second one got a white LED and was much brighter. I wished Tool Logic would have upgraded to the white version, but no, nay, never ...
Best regards and stay safe,

Wolfgang

I hear ya, and my considerations are similar.  :tu:

My Tool Logic Card resides in my wallet and is my 6th back-up in edc lights ... When I have to use it, I know I'm screwed  :dunno: but there are some better lights (plus spare batteries) ready before that happens.

Best regards and stay safe,

Wolfgang

Lol, we're screwed if we have to resort to our Tool Logics!

I only pull mine out to fiddle with it or for a photo op on MTO.

Took my grab-n-go edc pouch yesterday (@Diamond I added a small clip to my Tank007 at some point and I keep it backwards so I can clip it to a hat bill like a head light).

The ring there is attached to a pen and there's a small notebook in the back.

Good stuff everyone. Customod your edc pouch seems like a solid kit to take on jobs! I wish I had enough stuff to use my gear on nowadays. When I had motorcycles I always carried a Maxpedition pouch toolkit that had 1/4" ratchet set, Knipex pliers etc. Actually I did a fighter build with that kit and it has been unchanged since then and now stays in my car trunk when I need a solid set of tools. Last time it was used to take apart a chainsaw for maintenance.

Todays carry is a bit different for me as I want to try different things. This one is a workbench user from a man I looked up my whole life and who passed away few years ago. Longest SAK I've used, it's 107mm closed and has a 75mm high carbon blade. Cuts big chunks from wood happily. It says GML on the blade.

I think Wingman can sometimes be a bit under appreciated. Spring loaded pliers, good scissors and great everyday carry ergos. Also the package opener is pretty useful. Had one for my first LM and when I eventually got OHT and Rebar I gave my Wingman to a friend. He still uses it every time fishing and at cabin which is every few weeks. As I think of it, spring loaded pliers are actually what every fisherman would appreciate when you dig a hook out of an angry pike's jaw :D

Love this pouch! And I like the idea of a reversed clip for hat use.  :tu:

Those are special pieces to carry for sure.

And I agree with the Wingman. I had one and gave it to my son to motivate him to have a multitool on him at work and play. AND I love the package opener as well. My Gerber Dime introduced me to them and I've been hooked ever since.
