Speaking of EDCDepot.... CONTEST!!!!!
on: July 05, 2009, 09:06:55 PM
As I mentioned on SOSAKOnline this month:

http://www.sosakonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=462&Itemid=35

Marc has increased the discount for members this month from the usual 5% to 10% in honor of our anniversary!

Plus, there's a $25 gift certificate available to one lucky member!  All you have to do is cruise EDCDepot, find something you'd spend the gift certificate on if you won, and something that isn't on his site, but you'd like to see added to his lineup!

Post your answers here and we'll pick a winner in a few weeks!  :D

McGizmos for me... they are devilishly hard to come by over here!

Generally more hardware of that type would be useful  :tu:

After browsing EDC Depot,

If I won, I'd buy me a Wenger Evo Clipper: :)

Something that isn't on EDC Depot but should be? How about the Boker Urban Survival Pen?

If I will be lucky I will buy this...
Byrd Cara Cara G-10 Folding Knife.

Thank you so much for giving us the chance to win. More power to EDCDepot.

I suggest EDCDepot will carry more flashlights brands in the future.

After browsing EDCDepot, I would use the $25 gift card toward a Petzl E+Lite Headlamp which costs $30.

I really think Marc should carry Sentry Solutions products like Tuf Glide and Tough Cloth.

You nailed it.

Since Marc carries a fairly big selection of Boker stuff, I'm surprised he isn't offering the Boker USP.

I'll get one eventually, but I really don't care for the grind on it - that chisel grind is setup for lefties.

OH MAN, I feel like a kid in a candy store!

I would either put the $25 towards a yellow EvoGrip (https://edcdepot.com/merchantmanager/product_info.php?products_id=267) which I've been dying to buy for awhile now OR a Benchmade Mini Pika II (https://edcdepot.com/merchantmanager/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=189); which I heard good things about.

As for something that Marc doesn't have on his website, I would really love to see some paracord for sale in a wide range of available colours.  No EDC is complete without a bit of paracord!

This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

I would buy Alpen Sport 10x25 Compact Green Binoculars

When it comes to what he don't have then take look at County Comm and some of the cool stuff that they got. So if Marc that does international shipping, something County Comm don’t do, sell some of the cool stuff then every non US member could buy the cool stuff without doing a group buy or going through another member on the forum, but if I had to decide on one thing then I would say the EOD Utility bag

I also would like to se Marc carrying some Tasmanian Tiger stuff like the TT Tool pouch

There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.

I was lucky enough to win I would use it on a Maxpedition Condor II bag. This is because there is no good(!!!) Maxpedition dealer in Australia and the prices are sometimes double or triple of what the bag would normally cost :ahhh

I would like Marc in the future to sell Boomerangs :D :D

On a serious note I would like him to stock more SOG knives (Aegis     ) and MT's (such as the Paratool)

I would agree with adding more SOG....Pocket Powerpliers specifically.  Nite ize pouches would be nice too.

I would use it on "SOG CrossCut", cause someone (Cliosguy) told me: "A SOG is mandatory", and I haven't any yet... ;)
I would like to see the  Spyderco DK penknife , but then again it won't have any "Mass-Appeal".

Plus, there's a $25 gift certificate available to one lucky member!  All you have to do is cruise EDCDepot, find something you'd spend the gift certificate on if you won, and something that isn't on his site, but you'd like to see added to his lineup!

I'd use the gift certificate for the Boker Trance, then add on the two Kabars to make the shipping cost less burdensome.

Boker Trance drop point:

$27 after discount.

Kabar Dozier Orange Spearpoint:

$17.55 after discount.

Kabar Mini Dozier Orange:

$13.95 after discount.

These are all great knives - really superb EDC knives given the prices.

I'd like Marc to add the Boker Urban Survival pen knife to his lineup, and also the large and small 420HC Buck Vantage linerlocks.
