I used the phillips on my PST to tighten up a hinge on my bathroom door.

This was a first for me - I used the pliers on my Spirit to open my wife's suitcase.  Seems that the 'pull' piece on the zipper has vanished making it very difficult by hand to pull the zipper.

In a pinch, you can insert a paperclip and use it as a zipper dongle. :)

I used the awl on my ST300 to pry up some deep staples in a chair, then used the pliers to remove them completely so I could remove the chair cover for cleaning.  Worked like a charm!

This modded Leatherman Kick is getting used for everything at the moment - I can't understand why I didn't do it sooner

I've just totally stripped down SWMBO's bike and rebuilt it with basically a socket set and my Kick and a LM bit card. It'll be even better if I find some scissors to put in it too :)
I used to come here a lot.

Used the saw of my Spirit to cut four plastic lids to size for Panduit wiring duct , cut a piece of trim , pulled out a finish nail that was sticking out the side of a project . I went to help a Buddy , figuring all I would be doing was mule work , so I left my tool tote at home .

Cut about 20 feet of chicken wire to make a fence for my dad's vegetable garden.

He didn't know what he did with his tin snips.

Cam home from shopping today and the wife wouldn't let me in!!

OK so the door bell had stopped working. I only fitted it the other week. So I used my Leatherman Squirt P4 to dissmantle the bell push, nothing wrong there. Then used it to short the contacts across the terminals, dead, nothing, very odd.

It turned out to be a duff set of batts, I didn't need to take anything apart in the first place

Interesting tool you have, and welcome to the forum; can you tell us anything about who made it? :)  Or am I oblivious and it's made by someone I've heard of? XD

I started out in hospitality as a Maintenance Engineer, and our entire engineering department currently asks me regular questions about the building's systems and how they work.  I haven't been in that department for nearly 3 years!  Of course, it doesn't help that they all know I carry a MT everywhere.  I get screwed when anything breaks, if I'm close I just go fix it because they won't come if I call them.  They just ask me over the radio if I can take care of it.  Pretty nice actually, getting plenty of chances to use my MT.

Over the last few days I've been EDCing my std Vic Spirit again  :D Used it for opening tins of food ( I eat alot of beans at work lol ) , beer bottles , opening water caps on boats when the correct key has been missing , cutting hose pipe , cutting rope and I used the phillips to tighten up a door hinge on a customers boat .

You gotta love the Spirit  :D

I'm back to the good ol blast for now.  I've been using it for everything like always, prying rocks out of my tire treads, trimming beard hairs, tighting doors, repairing door locks, opening packages, and prying various things.  I love my blast, good to have it back.
